Our commitment to community and kids

At Freedom Riders Sudbury, we believe in riding for a cause. Discover how our motorcycle family passionately supports local children, ensuring they stay warm and thrive. Join us in making a real difference in our community.

Why keeping kids warm matters

Freedom Riders Sudbury is dedicated to keeping kids warm, alongside supporting various other charities. This mission is incredibly important to our motorcycle family because these are children who genuinely need our help. We believe every child deserves to be safe and comfortable, and we ride to make that a reality.

Our annual Poker Run and more

To raise money and support kids in need, our main event is the Annual Poker Run. This exciting event brings together motorcycle enthusiasts for a great cause. Through this and other initiatives, we gather vital funds to support our mission and ensure that no child in our community is left out in the cold.

Making a tangible difference

The impact of Freedom Riders Sudbury extends far and wide. Since 1989, our club has donated $53,834 and one electric wheelchair to various local children's charitable causes, all from funds generated by the Freedom Rally. Beyond monetary contributions, we've dedicated 1,022.5 volunteer hours to the Special Olympics, providing security at Olympic Villages. Our team has also volunteered security for events like the Big Snow Squall Snowmobile Racing Spectacular, Muscular Dystrophy Summerfest, and national and provincial boxing tournaments. We are proud of the tangible difference we make in children's lives and the broader community.
